The Job Interview

Alex had been looking for a job for several weeks. Finally, he got an interview at a local bookstore. On the morning of the interview, he was feeling nervous but prepared. When he arrived, the manager, Mrs. Green, welcomed him kindly. They sat down and talked about Alex’s experience and his love for books. While answering the questions, Alex started feeling more confident. Mrs. Green said, “We need someone friendly like you.” A few days later, Alex received a phone call. He got the job! He was proud of himself for staying calm and doing his best.
