A Visit to the Dentist

Emma had a toothache for two days. Her mom told her, “You must visit the dentist.” Emma was scared but agreed. At the dentist’s office, Dr. White welcomed her with a smile. He checked Emma’s teeth carefully. “You have a small cavity,” he said. Emma was nervous, but Dr. White explained everything. He fixed the tooth quickly and said, “It’s all done!” Emma was surprised it didn’t hurt much. After the visit, Mom bought Emma some strawberries as a reward. Emma learned that going to the dentist isn’t so bad after all.
