A Rainy Day Fun

It is Saturday. It is raining outside. Jake and Mia cannot go to the playground. They feel sad. Their mom has an idea. "Let’s have fun indoors," she says. Mom takes out paper, colors, and glue. Jake makes a red airplane. Mia draws a colorful flower. Mom makes funny paper hats. They laugh and put on their hats. Later, they bake cookies together. Jake mixes the ingredients. Mia shapes the cookies. The kitchen smells delicious. They eat cookies with milk. They look at the rain through the window. "Rainy days can be fun too," says Mom. Jake and Mia agree. They smile and hug Mom. The rain outside doesn't bother them anymore.
